Politics is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations between individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status.India is Democratic Country, where Democracy runs as per its Constitution.Indian Constitution is one among the famous Constitutions in the world.Though Indian Constitution lays down some Principles for those to govern the Country.But to follow & to make others to follow the listed Guidelines is far away from Indian Politics.To Understand Indian Politics we have to understand Power distribution of Country.The Country India is Ruled by that Party who wins Democratic Elections & this party which is in rule enjoys absolute power in other words we can say Head Offices like PM, President,Cabinet Minsters all belong to that party & PM is their Head, they all have Same Interests & they share common ideology.Hence they enjoy absolute power in the Country.What ever they want they can do it easily, because Judiciary is also Occupied by Ruling Party.From this Non-Democratic governance begins in the Country.To Understand from the depth that Elections in India are Often considered as Undemocratic, we will take a view of Indian Elections, As Indian is a Country of Religious Diversity,it is not right to talk about Religion in Democracy also Indian Constitution reads that India is a Secular Country, but i am again saying that these Guidelines are limited to Constitution only.
- In Indian Politics Religion Plays a Major Role, Religion is Considered as easiest weapon to mobilize & attract people.But the biggest fault with this Communal Democracy is that what one Sect of Religion thinks benefit for them at the same time other religion thinks as a harm to their interests, & a person becomes Hero for some & Villain, criminal for others.A Party thinks that it a benefit for their party to give seat to someone who had done some Religious activity & has a power to mobilize & attract people without considering role to Combine society they only think about their own interest which is power they don't look to Guidelines of Constitution, Hence gives an Entry in the Politics to One Who is Criminal & a Hero at a time.We can say it the Complete failure of Constitution in the Country.One more thing that is mostly used in Indian Politics is Money Power.In India large portion of Economy is in the Hands of few Persons, later they become modifiers & selecters of party members, they provide Economic supporte to a Single Party & later the party distributes this wealth to needy people of Country & buys theirs votes. & if the party wins election they form Govt. & later they serve interests of those few people who have provided them Economic supporte at the time of Elections.These things Happen in India which destroys the Spirit of Democracy.Though on Paper India is having a Democratic Govt. but in actual there is nothing like Democracy in India.With the inclusion of these persons(about whom i mentioned above) in Indian Politics it becomes Dirty Game & it no more works for the Prosperity of Citizens of Country but rather there becomes a fight for Power which different Parties wants to win at any cost.We can Conclude with that it is the failure of Executive body which leads to misuse of Constitution & where there is misuse of Constitution there We can't say that it is Democracy.
