India on Thursday confirmed that it had brought back 6,400 of its nationals from crisis-hit Ukraine, days after Russia ordered its troops into the region. The MEA in its briefing said that it estimates a few hundred Indians are still stranded in embattled Kharkiv city of Ukraine, despite the government's advisory.
